Thermal afterburning
Thermal afterburning
Throughput | 1,000 - 10,000 m³/h Exhaust gas |
Max. Temperature in the retort | 900°C |
In thermal afterburning, pollutants (e.g. hydrocarbons) in the exhaust gas are oxidized at temperatures above 800°C and then released into the environment via the roof.
The residual oxygen is measured via a lambda probe in the exhaust gas stack, which can be optimally adjusted by adding air.
