Solution annealing
Roller hearth furnace for aluminum parts
Oven temperatures | Solution annealing max. 560 °C |
Heating capacity | Ageing max. 300 °C" |
Batch weight | 6,000 kg/h |
Batch size | max. 2,000 kg |
Heating | 1,000 x 2,000 x 2,000 mm (L x W x H) |
The roller hearth furnaces are part of a fully automated heat treatment system for aluminum parts. The modular roller hearth system can be individually adapted to the required heat treatment specifications. The system can also be set up in line or in a U-shape. Subsequent expansion or increased output can be achieved by branching or adding modules.
Batch tracking in combination with heat treatment recipe management allows different components to be treated simultaneously in the furnace system.
Solution annealing in a salt bath
Salt bath temperatures | max 520 °C |
Heating capacity | 1.400 kW |
Useful space (L x W x H) | 14,000 x 1,500 x 3,000 mm (L x W x H) |
Heating | Direct electric heating |
Permissible salt bath medium | Nitrate salt AS 300 |
The plant is used for solution annealing of components made of aluminum alloys in a molten salt bath. The plant is installed at ground level, has 4 separately movable lids and is fed with the material to be treated from above via a crane system.
The temperature control of the molten salt is optimized in such a way that the temperature uniformity in the working chamber of class 1, according to AMS2750E, is achieved with a variation of +/- 3 K (°C).
