The thermal cracking of liquid methanol (CH3OH) turns one liter of methanol into 1.67m³ of cracking gas, which consists of 33 vol.% CO and 67 vol.% H2.

The compact design allows the generator to be flanged directly onto the atmospheric furnace, so that the cracked gas can be fed directly into the furnace.
