Endogas generators
Endogas generators
Evaporation capacity | 20 - 60 Nm³/h |
Heating | electrically heated |
Max. Temperature in the retort | 970°C |
In endogas generators, a mixture of natural gas and air is split catalytically by adding heat. The cracking retort contains a nickel catalyst.
From 1 Nm³ of natural gas and 2.4 Nm³ of air, approx. 4.8 Nm³ of endogas with the composition of 20.4 % Co, 40.8 % H2 and 38.8 % N2 are produced. The compact design allows the generator to be flanged directly onto the atmospheric furnace, so that the cracked gas can be fed directly into the furnace. A C-level control can be used to regulate the flow rate of endogas.
